The Manchester University Chinese Students Society was formed in the year 1969 with the aim to unite all the Chinese students who were studying, either locally or internationally, in the brilliant University of Manchester.
The society was widely acclaimed and hence it has been continued year after year by the committee members elected in the Annual General Meetings.
Today, MUCSS is an enormous community with over 1000 members, consisting of students from China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macau Special Administrative Region, Taiwan, southeastern Asia, and also the UK.
Every year, we hold non-stop events in Manchester and Hong Kong for all our members, including
orientation camp, football, basketball and rugby tournaments, pub crawl, dinners
at festivals, Christmas ball, singing competition, snooker tournament, clubbing and lots more!
MUCSS also strives for the welfare of the members. Every year, we successfully obtain different kinds of discounts, freebies and offers available solely for MUCSS members. As a non-profit organisation, it is our members' support which keeps us endeavouring. Thank you! |
